Pregnancy Rate

Rainbow Flag Health Services started doing inseminations in 1996. Needless to say, our volume does not even begin to match the long established sperm banks. However, our pregnancy rates are quite remarkable! Since opening our doors we have enrolled 315 women in our Frozen Donor Program and Directed Donor Programs. Collectively these women had a total of 1521 insemination cycles and 163 pregnancies, giving an 11% overall pregnancy rate. Please see the chart below which breaksdown the overall pregnancy rate by age group.

Furthermore, we have a female birth rate of 56% and a male birth rate of 43%.

Why is such a small operation having such good results? Honestly, we do not know. Here are our speculations:
Other sperm banks use one 1 cc vial per insemination, we use two 1 cc vials.
Gay men's sperm is better (chuckle).
We are doing something right.
